Kitchen PC

I always wanted a PC in the kitchen to provide quick access to the web but didn't want a traditional PC with keyboard & mouse on the counter. So when my employer was disposing of some surplus hardware that was used in a custom vending machine it was a perfect match. The hardware included a 3M Touch Screen, small form factor PC and misc cables. Using XP Pro, a front end designed for an in-car PC, some custom programming and on screen keyboard the dream has become a reality. You can view photos of that dream here.
